The gardens and raised beds on the Beeslack school grounds are being worked on by a combination of enthusiastic and polite pupils, the Communities Team and the Families Outreach team.
At the moment, the garden needs to be weeded and reorganised but thanks to the efforts of Mr. Barron in Communities and the Janitorial Staff, the old polytunnel has been removed and the decking has been power-washed. Mr Finlay from Maths has helped clear out the old raised beds. S4 pupils dedicated time to clearing out the old boards.
During the 26/27 school year we will continue to clear out the older parts of the garden and will hopefully establish a group including pupils, parents and staff to maintain the garden areas.
