We were told about the popcorn. We were told about the giant YPI, the live music, the dancers and the audience participation...but nothing quite prepared for the phenomenon that is the YPI National Event 2026.  And Nathan Evans live!

Joining a bus of fellow YPI winners reminded us that we were part of something bigger.  Lanyards on, we arrived at Perth Concert Hall to an excited buzz, big letters and brown bag lunches.  We made sure that we got the full YPI in Perth experience, picking up our complimentary lunch we headed back outside for the large letter photograph.  Next it was back inside for the ‘photobooth’ and, of course, the freshly made popcorn.  While we waited to be invited to the auditorium we soaked up the atmosphere, chatted with stall holders and acquired a few pens!

Inspirational speakers, emotional presentations, audience participation with Dee Bleakley and of course dancing along to Nathan Evans made for an exciting but exhausting day.  A huge thank you to all at YPI Scotland, The Wood Foundation and of course Ms Carrie!
