Pupils undertaking Barista Skills and those interested in the hospitality industry were invited to attend a Hospitality Takeover at Norton House Hotel in Edinburgh. The event was organised by Springboard UK in partnership with Developing Young Workforce, in order to provide pupils with an introduction to the hospitality industry.

Throughout the day, students rotated through five interactive workshops from cookery sessions and mocktail making classes, table setting, make a bed challenge, leisure session and tour of the spa and facilities. 

A fantastic lunch was provided for pupils and staff to enjoy alongside other Schools in Midlothian. All those who attended had a fantastic experience and joined in with all the activities and were a real credit to Beeslack Community High School and Annexe.
